About Us
Prevention Connections (PC) was established as a 501 (c) (3) in 2004. It supports the Action Plan for a Healthy Virginia, the Champions in Action Awards, and the Champions for Youth Summit. PC also serves as a nonprofit partner organization to support and enhance the childhood obesity, tobacco-use, and substance use prevention efforts of the Virginia Foundation for Healthy Youth (VFHY).
Mission
Our mission is to support youth tobacco and nicotine use prevention, substance use prevention, and childhood obesity prevention across Virginia.
Vision
We seek to improve and maintain wellness and quality of life by serving youth, young adults and their families in Virginia.
